In California, a rare used BMW Z8 from Alpina was stolen from a car dealership, but the kidnapper could not get far: he lost control and crashed into a pole. A car worth 499 thousand dollars was seriously damaged.

The accident involved one of the 555 existing Alpina Roadster V8 2003 release, equipped with a 4.8 liter V8 engine with a capacity of 381 horsepower. Judging by the photo from the scene published by Jacob Zone TV, the blow fell on the starboard side of the car: the front bumper, optics and hood are damaged, while the windshield has survived. The dealer has not yet assessed the damage, however, most likely, the restoration of the machine will be very expensive.

Against the backdrop of civil protests that began after the death of African American George Floyd and swept almost all US states, marauders are operating in large cities. They rob and smash not only shops, but also dealerships. For example, in California, Auckland, criminals entered the Mercedes-Benz showroom, smashed it, painted the exhibited cars from a spray can, and then burned a Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe supercar worth 150 thousand dollars.

The Honda dealership was also affected: the looters broke the window, stole a new CR-V crossover for $ 30,000 and stole office equipment. And a gang of criminals broke into the Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership – they stole 50 Dodge Challenger Hellcat sports cars worth at least $ 100,000 each, simultaneously damaging other exhibition cars.
