The head of the American Ford was fired for improper behaviorFebruary 23, 2018
President of the North American division of Ford Raj Nair was dismissed from his post after accusations of “improper behavior”. The decision was made based on the results of an internal investigation, during which it was determined that some of Naira’s actions did not comply with the company’s rules.
What kind of cases of “improper behavior” in question, Ford does not report. In his farewell speech, Raj Nair expressed regret that “sometimes he did not adhere to the principles that he himself always supported” and wished good luck to Ford employees.
Before becoming president of North American Ford, Nair was the head of the technology department of the brand. Under his leadership there was a triumphant return of the brand in “24 Hours of Le Mans” and the serial production of the new generation supercar GT began.
Now the president of the US office of Ford will be 52-year-old Kumar Galhtra. Previously, he held leading positions in engineering units and was responsible for the strategic planning of the product. Since 2014, Galchort led the brand Lincoln.
