The head of BMW M personally introduced the new M8 Gran Coupe (F93)November 15, 2019
A video appeared on the official YouTube channel of the Bavarian sports division, in which Marcus Flash shows the new M8 Gran Coupe, as well as a convertible and coupe.
BMW M CEO Marcus Flash introduced the all-new M8 Gran Coupe (F93). Now the line of elite BMW models is completed. As part of a 4-minute video, Marcus talks about the entire M8 model line, and shows the last “masterpiece” of his own unit.
The first was the M8 Competition Coupe (F92) coupe in the unique BMW Individual Malachite Green color. Then the M8 Competition Convertible (F91) convertible was shown with the BMW Individual Frozen Silver body color. And of course, the “star” of the video was the M8 Competition Gran Coupe in the color of BMW Individual Ametrin.
A key element of the exterior is the side profile view, the iconic break of Hofmeister, rethought in the spirit of the times. The interior is elegantly styled with gray BMW Individual Silverstone premium leather.
As a power unit, a 4.4-liter V8 biturbo engine is used, capable of developing up to 600 horsepower. In the Competition version, the capacity will increase to 625 “horses”. Paired with it is an eight-speed automatic transmission and a proprietary all-wheel drive system.
The BMW M8 Gran Coupe (F93) will not be available for sale until the spring of 2020. Then the official price will be announced.
