The guys from the Aspire Design have transformed the Range Rover VelarJune 17, 2018
A relatively new model of the British premium brand Land Rover – a compact crossover with an increased length Range Rover Velar, according to automotive critics, is a pretty handsome representative of its class – perhaps even the best by this criterion.
However, the guys from the famous London tuning studio Aspire Design, apparently do not believe that the appearance of the Range Rover Velar can no longer be improved, and that’s why they developed an aerodynamic body kit for this crossover.
Positioned as “the first widescreen update program for the Velar crossover,” the new Aspire kit includes enhanced wheel arches, side skirts, a new front bumper, a diffuser rear bumper, a different radiator grille and as many as 2 rear spoilers – one at the rear edge of the roof and one under the glass on the back door.
In addition, the British crossover also received 2 twin exhaust pipes – according to the company’s representatives, thanks to this “exhaust”, the sound from the diesel engine can hardly be distinguished from the sound of “exhaust” gasoline V8 with turbo. The appearance is also complemented by exclusive wheel rims with a maximum dimension of 24 inches. At the request of customers, Aspire Design engineers can use carbon fiber, leather, and in general, it will be possible to completely personalize the interior of the crossover.
Located between the Evoque and Range Rover Sport models, the relatively new Velar was introduced last summer. It is built on the same platform on which another British crossover F-Pace is based. The Range Rover Velar is available with a family of powerful Ingenium JLR engines, the most powerful of which is the 3.0-liter supercharged V6, which can develop a maximum of 380 hp. and 450 Nm of torque. In the near future a “charged” modification of this crossover will be presented. It is known that under the hood of this novelty there will be a 5.0-liter supercharged V8.
Not so long ago it became known that the company Land Rover decided to abandon the modification with three doors of the model Range Rover in the second generation. The novelty will appear on the market already in 2019 and will be offered only in a five-door body and in the version of a cabriolet.
