The Germans made a designer camper out of Mercedes-Benz SprinterSeptember 13, 2020
The German company La Strada showed the Nova M. model at the specialized exhibition Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf.
One of the main features of the novelty is its design – it is made in the style of the top camper La Strada Nova EB. Note that the basis for the Nova M was the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus. At the same time, the camper turned out to be larger than the “donor”: with a wheelbase of 3.66 meters, the length and width of the car are 6.46 and 2.15 meters, respectively. Along with this, it is 16 cm higher. For the manufacture of the living part of the body, fiberglass-reinforced plastic was used.
In the cabin of the camper, it is worth noting the presence of two beds, one of which is a 2-bedroom, a dining area with a sofa, a toilet with a shower, a kitchen with a 2-burner stove and a sink, as well as a large number of storage spaces and a refrigerator for 80 liters.
Customers are offered many options for finishing and equipment of the Nova M. The cost of the basic variation, which is built on the basis of the Sprinter with rear-wheel drive and 163-horsepower engine, is almost 100,000 euros. For a surcharge, you can get an all-wheel drive system, increased ground clearance and off-road tires.
In addition, it was recently noted that a presentation of a rather interesting Ford Transit NuggetPlus camper with a lifting roof took place. It should be emphasized that the first deliveries of new items will have to wait until the first quarter of next year.
