According to Automobile Magazine, Ford is currently developing a pickup truck that will end up in the Bronco family.
The novelty should debut in mid-2024. At the same time, according to the portal, the specialists of the American corporation will do everything possible so that the new model appears on the car market earlier.
The Bronco pickup will be very similar to the Jeep Gladiator. According to assumptions, the novelty will be offered only with a double cab and a single option for the cargo compartment.
As for the engine lineup, the pickup will get at least two engines. It is a turbocharged 4-cylinder 2.3 and V6 2.7 EcoBoost series. At the same time, the new items will not receive the 3.0-liter V6 turbo engine, which will appear on a simple Bronco. It is also unknown if the Bronco pickup will be offered with a naturally aspirated V8 engine.
In terms of cost, it is expected that the novelty will cost about $ 30,000, $ 3,000 cheaper than the Gladiator, which is positioned as the main competitor of the upcoming model.
In addition, it was recently reported that the American company Ford announced the price of the new generation of the F-150 pickup. The new model features advanced safety and driver assistance technologies and is also available with a hybrid powertrain.
