The flagship electric car Mercedes EQS will be released in 2020December 16, 2018
Next year, the first electric car from Mercedes, the EQC crossover, will enter the market. Previously it was assumed that the company will make an A-class level hatchback with the following electric car. But apparently, the next will be the flagship in the electric line EQS.
The future flagship electric car from Mercedes will be EQS, about which there is very little information, and the submitted spy photos is the only image of the future news. The presentation of the car can take place as early as 2019, and sales will begin only in 2020. But now, new information has appeared on the Web.
Despite the camouflage prototype, similar to the wagon, it will still be a sedan, and the letter “S” implies belonging to the flagship models. At least, so experts of the foreign edition Auto Bild assume. The first competitor will be a neighbor from Ingolstadt Audi e-tron GT.
As the power unit will be used twin-engine layout. It is expected that its total power will be about 408 horsepower. This is quite enough, but can the car compete with Tesla, as well as with the “hot” Audi e-tron GT?
carwow.co.uk have created an exclusive render of what the Mercedes EQS could look like based on early specs and spy shots.
Meanwhile, Carlex Design decided to launch a new series of renderers, and then real projects. The debut work was the “nightmarish” Mercedes X-Class Custom with six wheels, a carbon fiber body.
