Company Brabham Automotive, owned by the son of three-time champion of Formula 1 Jack Brabham David, published the first image of the supercar BT62, and also named its technical characteristics. The premiere of the car, which will cost one million pounds sterling, will take place in early May.
The supercar will be equipped with an atmospheric eight-cylinder engine with a volume of 5.4 liters, the return of which is not yet specified. The Brabham just added that the ratio of power to mass will reach 730 horsepower per ton. The dry weight of the car at the same time will be only 972 kilograms.
Aerodynamic elements of the supercar will provide 1200 kilograms of downforce. Also, the machine will be equipped with six-piston carbon braking mechanisms.
In total, Brabham Automotive will produce 70 copies of the BT62 model. The producer already takes orders for his first model. Customers are promised to deliver cars by the end of this year.
Each buyer will also have the opportunity to take part in a special training program that will “reveal the full potential” of the car on the track.
