The first sketches and details of the new crossover Vision GT from SkodaApril 21, 2019
Apparently, China is still not enough filled with Skoda SUVs. Despite the fact that the Czech brand is currently selling four different models on the Chinese market, it plans to further expand the line of crossovers.
Currently, Chinese customers can purchase Kamiq, Karoq, Kodiaq and Kodiaq GT. In the future, they will also be offered the Vision iV Concept all-electric crossover, but it turns out that this is not the end.
In Shanghai, Skoda has released two sketches of another conceptual crossover called the Vision GT, which will be shown for the first time at the Shenzhen Auto Show in early June. In the meantime, the manufacturer claims that it is “a modern city car and a Skoda sports SUV for China.”
Apparently, we are dealing with a compact or even subcompact crossover, which should get a kupeobrazny silhouette in the style of a larger Kodiaq GT, and also uses the newest Skoda design.
In general, the taillights and front grill are similar to the European versions of Kamiq and Scala, and the headlights are very similar to those used in Chinese Kamiq. In general, it is possible to make quite an obvious conclusion that this is the concept of a future sports version of the Kamiq GT.
