The first pictures of the updated Honda CR-V 2020 crossover appeared on the WebJuly 9, 2019
Motor1 published “spy” photos, which captured as many as three prototypes of the updated CR-V in camouflage form – the cars were seen in the eastern part of the United States. We expect that Honda will present its new product as a crossover 2020 model year.
Only one prototype has a complete “wrapper”, and the other two hide small changes in front and behind. We will start from the rear, where we can see the updated rear bumper. Trapezoid exhaust pipes are low. Moving to the front of the car, we can identify small changes in the parking lights at the corners of the front panel. The grille has become a little different, the chrome center strip looks a bit larger compared to the current model. This is all that our keen eyes can see.
Despite the masking film, we can see some changes in the body of the car. Changes seem very minor.
Will the changes also be minor in the cabin? Unfortunately, spy photographers could not get close to the interior of the novelty, but any updates in the CR-V cabin, in our opinion, should be insignificant. But resolving the list of supported functions is a more affordable step.
Probably, buyers will have a choice between two four-cylinder engines – aspirated 2.4-liter or 1.5-liter turbocharged, with a capacity of 184 or 190 horsepower, respectively. This power is transmitted to the front wheels or to all four through the CVT robot.
Not so long ago, we wrote that Honda patented the electric sports coupe. Honda’s new sports car resembles the Sports EV concept car, shown in 2017. Images of the mysterious electric car appeared in the database of the Japanese patent office.
