The first photos of the new Skoda Octavia showroom appeared on the Web.July 16, 2019
Despite the fact that there was no official debut yet, the photospies managed to make some shots of the interior of the future novelty. Judging by the photo – we are waiting for a completely new salon in the style of the last Volkswagen Golf.
Skoda is preparing to enter the new Octavia market. The debut will take place in September as part of the Frankfurt Motor Show, but sales will only begin next year. Nevertheless, there are already a lot of spy photos of the exterior on the Web, and now the first pictures of the salon have appeared. The main innovation – “Octavia” get rid of the four-eyed optics.
The salon will house two large displays – one instead of the instrument panel, and the second on the central panel as a display of a multimedia information system. With the help of it it will be possible to manage a variety of functions, but also the physical buttons will be saved. The model is based on the modern modular platform MQB, on which Volkswagen Golf, Sean Leon and Audi A3 are also built. Therefore, the interior design is very similar.
A modern engine range from the VAG Group will be installed under the hood: 1.0 TSI, 1.5 TSI and 2.0 TSI gasoline turbo engines, as well as 1.6 and 2.0 liters diesel engines. Later, a hybrid version may appear.
