On the famous circuit WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, formerly known as Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, will be the first ever official race of Porsche tractors. The competition will be held within the framework of the Rennsport Reunion VI festival – the largest event that unites German car owners.

The race will include a classic start in the spirit of “24 Hours of Le Mans”, when the riders first need to get into the tractor, start it and only then go to the track, and a 15-minute run before the fifth turn. According to one of the participants, the competition, although it looks like a joke, it still has a place for rivalry and struggle.

To participate in the race, the owner will need to send a photo of his tractor indicating the model and year of release, as well as pay an admission fee of $ 550. For this amount, the racer will get a seat on the paddock, two tickets for the festival, VIP-parking access.

Porsche produced tractors from 1956 to 1963. The total number of models produced was 125 thousand copies. Most of them are still working on farms. Tractors were equipped with engines with one, two, three and four cylinders with a capacity of up to 25 horsepower.
