The first images of the new Kia Stinger are publishedJanuary 23, 2020
After we saw the first spy shots that confirmed that Kia is working on a design improvement for the Stinger and that minor changes will suffer, today we have the first rendering that represents what the new taillights will look like.
Kia recently launched Stinger 2020, including new trim levels such as the GT-Line, which are just $ 100 more loaded than the outgoing base trim, and this will be the third year since Stinger goes into production, so what that means is soon to get an updated design.
If you believe the data, then we should see changes in design in July 2020. In December, Kia talked about November model implementations, and Stinger’s sales are slowly dropping from 1,173 units last year to 1,057 units in 2019. Since the beginning of the year, sales in 2019 have amounted to 12,827, but sales in 2018 reached 15,517.
Now we know that in terms of performance, based on Hyundai Sonata and Kia Optima, the new Drive Wise has been used for 2.0 Turbo gasoline engines and 2.2 diesel engines. Thus, we can expect that this will be applied in one form or another on the facelift Stinger. With the 3.3 Twin-turbo, it comes with new features such as headlight adjustment by turning the steering wheel and a new driver airbag control system with a switch to sport mode (as can be seen on the Genesis G70).
We now know that the interior of the Dark Red Pack, which was available only for the 3.3 Turbo Gasoline GT, could also be available for the 2.0 Turbo Gasoline and 2.2 Diesel Platinum models.
