The first images of the new Jaguar F-Type are publishedDecember 1, 2019
The first official images of the upcoming updated models of the Jaguar F-Type coupe and convertibles were published today on several pages on social networks, including Instagram, before the presentation on Monday, December 2.
The most radical changes occur in the F-Type front panel, which changes the headlights of the current car, curved into the hood, for thinner, lower and elongated LED blocks located next to the larger grille.
The front bumper has also been redesigned, while the rear has prepared finely-tuned taillights with rounded corners and an LED signature that mimics the “chic” graphics on the i-Pace and the updated XE. Obviously, there will be new colors and wheels.
We do not have any interior images yet, but we know that the biggest change will be the new digital dashboard, similar to the one used in XE, combined with an updated and more functional infotainment system. We will also receive improved switchgear and higher quality materials.
There were rumors that BMW V8 engines would be offered after an agreement between the two companies, but this is unlikely to happen with this F-type generation. Instead, we are likely to see a new six-speed turbocharged and hybrid JLR model whose engine is capable of delivering 395 hp. in the Range Rover, which appeared on the F-Type, along with existing four-cylinder engines and V8 engines with minor (if any) changes.
