The first image of the 992 Porsche 911 GT3 RS appeared on the Web.December 8, 2018
Since the presentation of the Porsche 911 2020 model year at the Los Angeles Auto Show, we expect a significant update to the lineup of the sports coupe. So far, we only know about Carrera S and Carrera 4S, but the 911 model has about 20 modifications.
Well, it’s time to discuss the upcoming 992 Porsche 911 GT3 RS. But first of all, it should be clarified that this is a bit premature, and the preliminary appearance of the new sports coupe can be expected no earlier than 2020-2021. But despite this, independent designer X-Tomi Design presented his own vision of the future news.
Judging by the presented image, the designer decided to combine the new eighth generation of the 911 coupe with the current version of the GT3 RS. So, on the car you can see ultra-light magnesium wheels, a large rear spoiler, rear wing air intakes, front wing extractors and NACA air ducts on the trunk lid.
A new body kit Weissach, which debuted on the 991.2 GT3 RS, is missing, so we don’t see the bare carbon on the top. The front end combines both the new version and the old GT3 RS.
It is assumed that a six-cylinder aspirated engine will be used as a power unit. But the power of the car is not yet known. In the “regular” version will be used automatic transmission, but as an option you can add manual gearbox.
