The first Dodge Charger shots appeared on the net in the powerful SRT Hellcat RedeyeMarch 5, 2020
The American brand began testing the sports sedan in the more productive version of the SRT Hellcat Redeye. The presentation may take place this spring. Under the hood, the novelty has a 797-horsepower engine.
The Dodge engineering team has begun testing the Charger sedan in the more powerful version of the SRT Hellcat Redeye. The prototype of the 2020 model year news has camouflage only on the hood. Like the Dodge Challenger coupe in the same version, we expect the sedan to receive a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine with 797 horsepower (958 Nm). An eight-speed automatic transmission will be the only transmission option.
Despite the camouflage coating on the hood, it is obvious that there is a large “scoop” of air intake that will help direct cold air into the supercharged engine. The rest of the front of the car, just like the back, does not seem to have received any changes compared to the Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody, including the design of the rims. However, the tailpipes on this test car seem to have a rough finish – they are not as smooth as on the existing version of the model.
Back in January 2020, as part of a commercial posted on the Dodge official Facebook page, the company hinted at the upcoming presentation of the Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye.
It is possible that the debut of the Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye can take place in just a few weeks. At least, the poster for the upcoming So-Cal Spring Festival festival depicts a blue sedan with an expanded hood scoop, and this image may be a hint of a more powerful version of the sedan. This development of events is confirmed by rumors that the Charger Redeye will debut this spring and go on sale in the summer.
