The first details about the new Mitsubishi OutlanderFebruary 3, 2020
The world’s most popular crossover is preparing for a generational change. Based on spy photos, render images were made.
Today the first renders of the new generation of the Mitsubishi Outlander crossover appeared on the Web. They were made on the basis of photographs taken by photo spies during test trials. The car adopted some elements of the exterior from the Mitsubishi Engelberg Tourer concept car – this is a large radiator grill, as well as the performance of the head optics. During the test races, it was not possible to look into the salon, however, the designers suggested that the interior can also take a lot from the concept car.
If this is confirmed, the interior of the new cross will have a very concise and modern design – the front panel design is especially noteworthy. It is expected that the car will receive two different modifications – with a 5- and 7-seater saloon. There is no official information about the power plants of the novelty yet.
Experts suggest that in addition to the version with the classic ICE, a hybrid version based on a 2.4-liter engine will go into mass production.
Mitsubishi management announced the official presentation of the new Outlander in the second half of this year, but experts believe that the company may surprise and hold the premiere at the New York Motor Show in the spring.
