The first crossover Genesis GV80 is fully unveiled before the official premiereDecember 4, 2019
The future novelty caused a real stir among experts and photo spies. Until this time, many pictures of prototypes had already appeared on the Web, but now managed to get photos of a production model directly from the factory.
A number of photos from the Hyundai assembly line have been published on the Web, where the production of the first premium Genesis GV80 crossover has started. In the photographs, you can examine in detail the front and back, as well as the interior design. Moreover, the official debut should take place only on December 19, although the production of the crossover has been going on since December 2.
Judging by the photos, the model is made in accordance with the modern concept of corporate style, and also received a number of design solutions from the conceptual predecessor. A special “highlight” was the head optics, visually divided into two equal tiers in the form of two strips of LED modules. The taillights are made in the appropriate style.
The front also features a massive pentagonal radiator grille, textured hood, and pronounced front wings. Aft there are large oval exhaust tips, as well as a large inscription Genesis on the fifth door.
In the cabin, in fact, something special cannot be distinguished. The attention is drawn to the steering wheel, especially in light finishes, as well as a narrow 14.5-inch multimedia system display on the front panel. In addition, the car will be equipped with both an analog and a fully electronic instrument panel.
Three different engines will be offered as a power unit: a 2.5-liter gas turbo engine capable of developing up to 300 horsepower; 3.0-liter turbodiesel for 280 forces and 589 Nm of torque; as well as the top version with a 3.5-liter V6 turbo engine, capable of developing up to 380 forces and 530 Nm. Together with all the options, an eight-speed automatic robotic transmission will work. Drive rear or full.
