The first batch of Jeep Gladiator pickups went to dealers
April 13, 2019The first ready-to-sell copies of the American pickup Jeep Gladiator 2020 model year are on car carriers and sent to dealers of the automaker. The first batch left the Jeep plant in Toledo, Ohio (USA), on Friday, April 12, 2019.
Gladiator prices start at $ 33,545, but you can significantly increase the final price by choosing higher trim levels and additional options.
The base price of an even more off-road and powerful complete set of Rubicon is 43,545 dollars, and if you choose all the available options for a Jeep Gladiator pickup truck, the price of the truck will be 64,110 dollars
Early started accepting applications for an exclusive version of the Launch Edition, which is based on the Rubicon version and has a price tag of 60,815 dollars. This version of the pickup has received other rims, interior trim and badges that also speak about the exclusivity of the truck. In total, only 4,190 copies of the Launch Edition will be offered and they are all sold out within 24 hours.
Gladiator comes exclusively with a 3.6-liter V6 rated at 285 hp. (352 Nm). Buyers can choose between 6-step manual or 8-step automatic transmission. The truck can tow up to 3,469 kg and has a load capacity of 725 kg. Later, sales of a pickup with a 3.0-liter diesel engine, 260 hp will start. (599 Nm). The timing of the start of sales of such a performance model is not yet known. Expect prices for the diesel version to be higher.
