At the disposal of the edition of BMW Blog were the official photos of the most powerful and fast version of the BMW M2 coupe, which will receive the prefix Competition in the title. The public premiere of the novelty will be held on April 25 at the Beijing Motor Show.
According to preliminary data, the BMW M2 Competition will be equipped with a modified six-cylinder three-liter biturbo motor from the M4 coupe. The engine will develop 410 hp. and 550 Nm of torque, which is 40 hp and 85 Nm more than the output of the standard version of the M2.
It is assumed that in the version with a robotic box with two clutches, the BMW M2 Competition can accelerate from place to 100 km / h in 4.2 seconds, which is 0.1 seconds. It is faster than the usual modification of a two-door car.
Extreme coupe will receive a lightweight design, improved brake mechanisms, reconfigured suspension and a modernized aerodynamic body kit. Judging by the images, the M2 Competition will have a radiator grille and a front bumper, which will have modernized air intakes.
On the steering wheel, the buttons “M1” and “M2″ appear, which, apparently, will be responsible for setting additional driver modes.
