The fastest modification of the Lamborghini Aventador supercar will be called SVJ. This is evidenced by the photo of the car dashboard screen saver, laid out in Instagram by the user salentov12.

The Italian brand will return to the series the SVJ index, which was first used in the 1970s. Then the factory pilot Bob Wallace built an experimental Miura coupe model, corresponding to the racing regulations of the FIA J. The car received chassis components and body panels from aluminum, plastic side windows, fixed headlights instead of lifting ones, and a retuned suspension.

The power of the 2.9-liter V12 engine of the standard “Miura” increased from 370 to 425-445 horsepower. After the completion of the testing program, the car was sold to a private owner. In April 1971, as a result of the accident, it was destroyed.

At the moment, there are six Miura SVJs released by Lamborghini. One of them was built as a new car, the rest – modified SV modifications.

The last time the index J in the Lamborghini lineup was used for the released in a single copy of the speedster Aventador J. The debut of the novelty was held in 2012 at the Geneva Motor Show. The all-wheel drive Lamborghini Aventador J is equipped with a 6.5 V12 engine with 700 horsepower and 690 Nm of torque. The unit worked in tandem with a seven-speed automatic transmission.
