The fastest Bugatti Chiron from Lego scattered into pieces when setting a recordJanuary 8, 2019
Enthusiasts decided to set their own record on the legendary Italian hypercar Bugatti Chiron, but built from Lego. The official kit from the Technic series with a cost of $ 350 was used for testing.
Earlier, we wrote that Lego presented a scale model of Bugatti Chiron (1: 8) consisting of 3,599 parts. Despite the fact that it was not easy to assemble it, enthusiasts decided to set a speed record of the original on it, that is, to accelerate it to 420 km / h, but also to scale. That is, the goal was a speed of 52.5 km / h, which is quite simple for radio-controlled cars.
For this project, the creators had to go to the nearest store of radio components, but they cheated a little. Instead of embedding the engine and the battery in the machine, they modified the model a little and installed it on the finished chassis, although the wheels were left from the original.
The video shows that the speed was easily overcome by the established barrier. However, it was not easy to control the Lego machine, and at the testing stage it was scattered into pieces.
Meanwhile, Bugatti is famous for its technology for cars, it successfully uses new materials in its cars, and now decided to demonstrate the work of the world’s first caliper printed in titanium.
