The fastest Audi TT RS in the world belongs to the 78-year-old BritonNovember 18, 2020
The Audi TT RS is already a very fast car from the factory, and with some modifications it can be turned into a “ballistic missile on the road”.
This particular copy of the Audi TT RS belongs to a 78-year-old Briton named Arthur. Not only is it significantly faster than the standard model, it is also the fastest TT RS in the world. During a recent car test at Dunsfold airfield in the UK, the driver of this Audi TT RS was able to accelerate from 100 to 200 kilometers per hour in just 3.2 seconds, breaking the previous record of 3.3 seconds.
While the standard TT RS 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine produces an already astonishing 394 hp. and 480 Nm of torque, complex modifications made to this car increased its power to more than 1100 hp. and allowed to develop up to 4.14 bar boost pressure, if necessary.
Incredibly, its owner has not yet completed the modifications and plans to install a more powerful turbocharger in the future, which can add an additional 200 hp. It is possible that with some modifications the car will be able to accelerate from 100 to 200 km / h in 2 seconds, which will be a truly outstanding achievement.
