British brand dealer published a photo of Aventador SVJ
British dealer H.R. Owen Lamborghini revealed the appearance of the extreme version of the Aventador supercar called Superveloce Jota (SVJ). In the photo, published in Instagram, you can see the carbon parts of the body kit, including a new rear wing and a luggage compartment lid with additional ventilation slots.
According to preliminary information, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ will be equipped with a 6.5-liter V12 engine, the output of which will be increased to 770 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque. The unit will be combined with a seven-speed robotic transmission ISR with one clutch, which has been reconfigured for faster switching.
In addition, the hardcore supercar will receive the active aerodynamics system ALA (Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva). It is able to change the level of drag and downforce, and in the corners in different ways to load the right and left side of the wing. At the maximum speed of “feathering” the Aventador SVJ generates about 490 kilograms of downforce.
During the test races on the “Northern loop” the pre-series prototype Aventador SVJ installed a new track record. Racer Marco Mapelli drove a circle in 6 minutes 44.95 seconds – two seconds faster than the Porsche 911 GT2 RS and a second faster than the electric super car Nio EP9.
