Enyaq iV model – analogue of Volkswagen ID.4
Electric crossover Skoda Enyaq iV was revealed ahead of schedule, on the eve of the premiere. Photos have appeared on the web showing a design that the company describes as “emotional, balanced and dynamic.”
The closest relative of the Skoda SUV is the Volkswagen ID 4. Both are built on the MEB platform and, in basic versions, are equipped with one electric motor on the rear axle. The RS version will receive a motor for each pair of wheels and will have a total of 306 horsepower. Such an electric car will be able to accelerate from zero to one hundred in 6.2 seconds, and its maximum speed will be 180 kilometers per hour. The power reserve without recharging is 460 kilometers.
The Enyaq iV design is an evolution of a new corporate identity tested on Scala and Kamiq. The exterior of the SUV in the company is called “elegant and aerodynamic”, separately indicating the coefficient of aerodynamic drag – 0.27. Among the visual features of the Enyak are a short hood and an elongated roof that slopes towards the stern.
The interior design sketches of the novelty, published at the end of July, show a digital instrument panel, a projection screen, a 13-inch multimedia system tablet and a steering wheel with two horizontal spokes. There is also a compartment for wireless charging smartphones, a small touchpad near the gear selector and backlighting.
