The evolution of the Ferrari F355 on the example of 14 video gamesSeptember 25, 2019
The authors of the channel Cars in Video Games showed how the car was changing
On the YouTube channel Cars in Video Games, a comparison of the rendering of the Ferrari F355 in various video games has appeared. The evolution of the graphics can be traced using examples from Need for Speed II: Special Edition, Forza Motorsport 2 and Forza Horizon 4.
In total, the author of the video managed to combine scenes from 14 games. The earliest – Need for Speed II: Special Edition – was released in 1997, and the newest – Forza Horizon 4 – in 2018. It is easy to notice that as the graphics “matured”, the Ferrari F355 itself also changed: the drawing of the car became more detailed and better.
Ferrari F355 was produced from 1994 to 1999. The model was offered in the back of a berlinet (coupe), targa and spider (roadster). In addition to the usual versions, the F355 line included a GTS with a removable hardtop, a racing F355 Challenge and a limited edition Serie Fiorano with a suspension from the F355 Challenge and a carbon-fiber interior. The model was equipped with a 3.5 V8 engine with a power of 380 hp and 363 Nm of torque and could accelerate to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.
