The newest car Hyundai Casper will be the smallest crossover in the brand’s model range. It is known that the model will be sold in the car markets of Southeast Asia, but the company does not exclude that Casper is able to become a global model and reach other countries.

According to, this small SUV is originally intended for the Indian market but may appear in Europe as the smallest crossover, even an electric version is expected for South Korea.

Production of Casper is expected to begin in September, with domestic sales starting in the fourth quarter of 2021. The Hyundai AX1 is a new car based on the K1 small car platform that Hyundai Motors has built for emerging markets such as India.

Today we want to share with you the details of the technical part of the new Hyundai Casper. The information was released by SHM Studio, which recently passed Korea’s emissions and noise certification, identifying two gasoline engines for the South Korean lineup. The Casper is also expected to have an all-electric motor, but details on this will come out at a later date.

The small SUV is similar in size to the i10 or Picanto but looks a little taller. Casper’s dimensions are 3595 mm long, 1595 mm wide, and 1575 mm high, which is in line with internal standards for compact cars.
