The company BMW confirmed the development of a new model based on the concept car iVision Dynamics, presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2017. The commodity version of the car will be called i4 and will be assembled at a factory in Munich.

The prototype BMW iVision Dynamics was equipped with an electric power plant, the characteristics of which were not disclosed in the company. On one charge the concept car could travel up to 600 kilometers. Its maximum speed was 200 kilometers per hour, and the acceleration to “hundreds” took about four seconds.

BMW iVision Dynamics is devoid of the classic grid radiators. Most elements in the front of the body act as a decor for sensors and sensors, and also emphasize the brand’s brand identity.

In December last year, BMW introduced a plan for the development of a line of plug-in hybrids and electric vehicles until 2025. According to the document, the manufacturer will release 25 new models – including twelve cars with fully electric power units. One of the most advanced models will be a “charged” version with three electric motors with a total capacity of more than 800 horsepower.
