The design and interior of the serial Mercedes-AMG super hybridOctober 2, 2018
A serial modification of the hybrid hypercar Mercedes-AMG Project One debuted at the Paris Motor Show. In the product version the word “Project” disappeared from the name – now the car is simply called Mercedes-AMG One.
Hypercar, which looks exactly like a conceptual version, equipped with active aerodynamics. It has opening deflectors on the front wheel arches and a multi-piece retractable rear wing that can change its position and angle of attack. At the moment, the complex of aerodynamic elements is still undergoing finishing tests in a wind tunnel.
Detailed specifications of the hypercar are still not disclosed. The car is expected to receive a hybrid powerplant based on a 1.6-liter V6 turbo engine, capable of “unwinding” up to 11 thousand revolutions per minute. The units will also include an eight-speed robotic gearbox, five electric motors and lithium-ion batteries. The total return of the engine was more than 1000 horsepower.
