The debut of the new Jeep Grand Wagoneer was postponed to 2021April 17, 2020
This decision was made because of the coronavirus epidemic, which forced a review of the production plan.
The American concern FCA said that due to the coronavirus pandemic, the launch of the production of two new machines will be postponed. It’s about the Jeep Grand Wagoneer and Grand Cherokee. This became known on Friday, April 17. Recall that initially the debut of cars was supposed to take place at the end of 2020.
At the moment, there is a delay of three months in the production plan, so these models will not appear on sale earlier than the beginning of 2021. Jeep Grand Wagoneer is not a brand new model for the legendary brand. Such a car was produced for quite some time, but was discontinued in the early 90s of the last century.
However, the new version is not much like its predecessor – the car has become larger, much more comfortable and more technologically advanced.
After the release, the novelty is considered as the main competitor for the Ford Expedition and Chevrolet Tahoe. Jeep Grand Cherokee will also appear on the market next year – the car should get a new platform and change very seriously. FCA is gradually considering resuming production. In the United States, this may happen on May 4, and in Canada on May 18.
