The debut images of the new Kia Carnival are published on the InternetJune 24, 2020
KIA released the debut official images of the updated KIA Carnival minivan.
Judging by the pictures, the restyled Carnival received external changes, became larger and got off-road features.
Keeping the rear sliding doors of the minivan intact, Korean experts expanded its wheel arches, stretching the hood, and secured an almost imperceptible body kit from unpainted plastic around the perimeter of the body.
The design was completely revised – what are the complex breaks of the DRL, the branded grille of the “tiger smile” and integrated sections of high beam headlights integrated into it. Only here, complementing all this magnificence, chrome will remain the prerogative of the flagship configuration Carnival with the prefix Limousine.
The novelty has become longer than its predecessor by 40 mm (up to 5155 mm), wider by 10 mm (up to 1995 mm), and the wheelbase “stretched” from 3060 to 3090 mm. Only the height has not changed, it is still 1740 mm.
Information on the technical characteristics of new items yet. At the same time, it is assumed that the updated minivan will be built on the same platform as the last generation Sorento cross, and in its South Korean engine lineup there will be an improved 2.2-liter turbodiesel and a new 2.5-liter SmartStream petrol turbo four, which will replace the current naturally aspirated V6 engine.
