The debut date of the most compact crossover Toyota has become knownJanuary 21, 2020
The most compact crossover in the European lineup Toyota, which will be located at a position below the C-HR, will debut on February 10 this year. The name of the model will be announced on the day of the premiere. This information was shared by the Japanese agency Best Car.
As noted, the cross will be built on the GA-B platform – the smallest variation of the global TNGA architecture that underlies the current Toyota Yaris hatchback. All the main components, assemblies and equipment of the new model, for sure, will also borrow from the hatchback. The crossover will receive a length of 3940 mm, a width of 1695 mm, a height of 1500 mm, and a wheelbase of 2550 mm.
According to the assumptions, the basic equipment of the new SUV will be equipped with a 89-horsepower gasoline “turbo-engine” of 1.5 liters, while a power unit based on a 1.5-liter supercharged internal combustion engine and an electric motor-generator will be offered as an addition.
The production of cross-country at the French company Toyota in Onnen starts in the third quarter of this year, and its sales, apparently, will begin closer to December.
