The debut date of the electric Ford Transit was announcedOctober 29, 2020
Ford CEO Jim Farley, at a meeting with shareholders, announced the release of the Ford Transit electric van.
According to Farley, the novelty may debut in November this year. “This is your first time hearing this. We believe that an electric van and pickup truck will be a great option for selected markets, ”the head of Ford Corporation said during the meeting.
Details about the electric Transit were not discussed, but Farley said both the van and the F-150 pickup were key vehicles for the company commercially. The head of the American concern also singled out communications and software as something more interesting, especially when it comes to offering commercial customers a full range of services, which includes not only a car, but also charging and data services to reduce the cost of ownership.
“These electric vehicles will be real working machines, extremely capable and with unique digital services and aerial capabilities,” Farley said.
The Ford executive, in particular, touched on the cost of the Transit electric van, saying it would be acceptable.
In addition, it was recently noted that photos of the off-road Ford EcoSport Active 2021 were published on the Internet. It should be emphasized that the presentation of this car by the American company is scheduled for November 6.
