The debut date of the BMW iX electric cross was announcedNovember 2, 2020
BMW has announced the date of the premiere of the upcoming electric crossover iX.
So, the new BMW iX debut on November 11 this year, but this will not be a full-fledged premiere, the Germans will only show the public the design of the flagship.
Recall that the new electric crossover has more than once caught the lenses of photo spies. Judging by the spy shots, the novelty will get an original grille. In addition, we managed to look into the salon of the iX model. A digital dashboard should appear here, combined with a multimedia system screen. Although the displays are separate in the photo, it is possible that the manufacturer will reconsider this decision on a production car.
The novelty should also receive a 2-spoke steering wheel with integrated optical buttons to control the car’s functions. And this is quite logical, given that the German company calls the upcoming novelty the “technological flagship” of the brand. Speaking about the technical component of the new electric car, it will be offered with various motors and batteries. The performance of the electric motors will vary between 300 and 600 hp. As for the power reserve of the novelty, it will be able to travel on a single charge from 400 to 600 kilometers in the WLTP cycle.
It is worth saying that the BMW iX will repeat the concept of the Vision iNext prototype, which was unveiled in September 2018.
In addition, it was recently noted that the German studio has developed a tuning kit for the coupe-like crossover BMW X6. It should be emphasized that the cost of the package of improvements for the car of the German company can be found only upon personal inquiry.
