The date of the start of sales of the new Volkswagen Tayron GTEMarch 7, 2020
Super-economical crossover modification will be on sale this summer.
Volkswagen Tayron GTE market debut is scheduled for June 2020. This crossover is equipped with a rechargeable hybrid, which guarantees an enviable SUV economy – only two liters of fuel for each “hundred” mileage. About the beginning of the test assembly of an economical new product it became known a couple of days ago when the first Tayron GTE photos taken at the FAW-Volkswagen plant got on the Web. The hybrid version differs from the standard crossover with a new bumper, spectacular DRLs on LEDs that have received the original C-shape, as well as modified optics and a redesigned radiator grill.
In length, the novelty reaches 4,590 mm with a wheelbase of 2,731 mm.
The hybrid powerplant includes a 1.4-liter TSI and an electric engine. To help them, the manufacturer chose a set of high-performance batteries that allow cars to travel up to 50 kilometers on one electricity.
The standard Volkswagen Tayron drives one of two turbo engines: a 150-horsepower 1.4-liter and a two-liter with a return of 186 HP. Both are combined with a 7-speed “robot”. The available drive type is front or full. Among the equipment of the Tayron GTE is modern multimedia with a giant touchscreen, convenient virtual dashboard, all-round cameras, LED optics and more. For an extra charge, the cross is equipped with adaptive cruise control, a monitoring system for blind spots, a spectacular panoramic roof, etc.
The price tag will be closer to the start of sales. Recall that the usual Tayron in the “heavenly” car dealerships costs at least 188,800 yuan. If you equip the crossover as much as possible, its price will increase to 319,800 yuan.
