At the moment, the manager of Lamborghini is 54-year-old Stefano Domenical. He previously worked at Audi and Ferrari. Given that since 2016 the brand has experienced explosive sales growth, the new top manager is coping with his obligations. In addition, he shared plans for the near future.
Despite the growing demand for the flagship model Lamborghini Urus, the company is preparing another model. The growth in sales of the popular crossover will not last forever. Therefore, a car with the code name 2 + 2 GT is under development. Now is the final stage of design development. But in the technical part there are difficulties.
The exit is planned only for the period 2025-2027. Therefore, the company has not yet decided on the platform, units, as well as the motor line. As Stefano noted – the choice of motor will take place from the current VW Groupe line at the time of the release of the serial version. All-electric modification is also not excluded.
Lamborghini plans to sell 8,200 new cars this year. The goal is to mark 10,000 cars. Moreover, in 2018 only 5,750 cars were sold.
Meanwhile, the tuners made the Lamborghini Urus brutal and more powerful. A package of improvements for the Italian SUV was developed by the German tuning studio Wheelsandmore.
