Ora, owned by Great Wall, has announced the start of sales of the third model of its own line – the White Cat Citycar with an autonomy of 401 km.
Ora White Cat is based on the modular ME architecture. The electric vehicle has a length of 3625 mm, a width of 1660 mm, a height of 1530 mm, and the distance between the axles is 2490 mm. The volume of the trunk reaches 173 liters, with the backrest of the rear sofa folded, this figure rises to 867 liters.
The standard version of the White Cat has a 48-horsepower electric motor and a 34 kWh battery that provides a range of 360 km on the NEDC cycle. The second modification received a 61-horsepower motor and a 38 kW / h battery, the declared mileage is 401 km. In both cases, the electric motor is located on the front axle. While Ora White Cat is equipped with an outdated type of lithium battery, a battery with cylindrical cells is expected in the future.
The acceleration time for both variations is the same: up to 50 km / h in 5.6 seconds. The maximum speed is 102 km / h. A full charging cycle from a 3.3 kW power source will take 10 hours, and at stations with a fast charge function (6.6 kW), it will take 40 minutes to replenish the battery to 80%.
Inside the White Cat, a liquid crystal dashboard and a multimedia system have been combined into a single 23-inch unit.
The basic configuration of the Ora White Cat with a 34 kWh battery starts from 75.8 thousand yuan, and an electric car with a range of 401 km – from 83.8 thousand yuan.
