The creators of the first Lebanese supercar Lykan Hypersport will release a competitor Ferrari 488July 24, 2018
W Motors, which developed the first Lebanese supercar Lykan Hypersport, intends to present an “entry-level” model that will compete with both the Ferrari 488 Spider and the Porsche 911 GT3. This is with reference to the head of the brand Ralph Debbas, reports PistonHeads.
Sportcar, which does not yet have a name, will be located on the step below the 811-strong Fenyr Supersport. The latter is equipped with a 3.7-liter twin-turbo “opposing” company Ruf. The coupe can accelerate up to 96 kilometers per hour in 2.7 seconds and costs one million pounds sterling.
The price of the “affordable” model will be five times less – about 200 thousand pounds sterling. It will be equipped with an Ruf unit, which produces about 650 forces, and the old partner of W Motors, Magna Steyr, will work on the development of the chassis.
In addition to the sports car, the W Motors lineup will have a charged crossover. According to Debbas, the all-terrain vehicle, which is planned for 2020, will be “more exclusive and sportier in terms of materials” than the Lamborghini Urus. The model will have a fully carbon body and an “interesting power unit”. This is probably a hybrid.
The first model of the W Motors – Lykan Hypersport – was equipped with an opposing 3.7 engine, the output of which is 791 horsepower and 960 Nm of torque. From the site to the first “hundred” supercar is able to accelerate in 2.8 seconds. The maximum speed is 395 kilometers per hour.
