The Byton brand, created by former employees of Tesla, BMW and Nissan, has published a teaser of the second model – an electric sedan, which will premiere at CES Asia in June. Sales of the model will begin in the Chinese market no earlier than 2021.
At the core of the electrosedan will be a platform similar to the one used in the construction of the first Byton crossover model with a 49-inch instrument panel. From it, the model will also receive advanced communication capabilities and an autopilot of the third level.
The equipment of the conceptual crossover, presented in January this year, includes a system for recognizing faces, voice and gestures. Using the cloud platform, the driver and passengers can synchronize gadgets with the on-board system, access to personalized services and settings, and download third-party applications to the car.
In addition, an electric all-terrain vehicle can be synchronized with fitness trackers and smart clocks, track the heart rate, change body weight and offer “meaningful recommendations” based on the current state of the driver.
