The Chinese will bring to Geneva a crossover with a design from the creator of Ferrari EnzoFebruary 20, 2020
The Chinese company Aiways has published sketches of a conceptual coupe-crossover called U6ion, which will premiere in March at the Geneva Motor Show.
The car was created under the leadership of the famous industrial designer Ken Okuyama, who was previously a leading specialist in Pininfarina and, in particular, was responsible for the development of the Ferrari Enzo supercar.
So far, the experimental crossover coupe only knows that it is built on an aluminum-steel platform MAS (More Adaptable Structure), as well as the fact that it is driven by a fully electric power plant.
At the moment, the young company from Shanghai has only one production model – the U5 electric crossover. Before its premiere in 2019, the car made a run from the Chinese city of Xi’an to German Frankfurt, having traveled more than 15 thousand kilometers. The company that made the “longest journey on electric cars” was officially listed in the Guinness Book of Records.
In total, electric cars visited 12 countries: China, Kazakhstan, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Germany.
Aiways U5 is equipped with an electric motor developing 190 liters. from. and 315 N · m of torque and transmitting traction to the front wheels. A set of 65 kWh batteries allows you to drive up to 460 kilometers without recharging.
