Chinese IT giant Alibaba will supply artificial intelligence systems to Daimler, Audi and Volvo. Developments of Alibaba A.I. Labs will be used on cars for the Chinese market, reports Automotive News.

The system will allow car owners to communicate with their car through the home “smart column” Tmall Genie with the help of voice. While all the interaction is possible only in Chinese. From the house you can manage the locks, air conditioning, and enter the route in the navigation system.

In addition, some diagnostic capabilities will be built into the system: for example, it will be possible to diagnose the engine, find out the charge of the battery or the fuel level.

Head of Alibaba A.I. Labs Chen Li Juan said that the company has yet to determine the additional features of the system. He added that the OS for entertainment complexes of machines in development will also receive an advanced voice control system, in particular, with voice recognition – it should respond only to the host.

Earlier similar systems received cars Infiniti and Genesis. Voice control from them is realized with the help of Amazon Alexa.
