The Brazilian turned the Fiat hatchback into Lamborghini AventadorJuly 26, 2018
A resident of Brazil, Edimar Souza Goulart, independently built a copy of the Lamborghini Aventador. Being a mechanic by profession, as the basis for the supercar project, he chose the 16-year-old hatchback Fiat Uno. This is reported by IOL News.
The donor machine Gulart bought two years ago for 31 thousand reals. The construction of a copy of Lambo and the manufacture of a new body kit took him a year and 10 thousand reals. As a result, Fiat received a completely different body with massive air intakes and a rear wing, as well as the Lamborghini logo and the inscription Aventador.
However, the changes are only cosmetic. Technically, it’s still the same Fiat Uno, equipped with a 1.1-liter engine rated at 58 horsepower and 87 Nm of torque. To the first 100 km/h Uno accelerates in 15 seconds, and its maximum speed is 155 kilometers per hour.
In May, the Chinese manufacturer Shandong Qilu Fengde introduced the P8 electric car, similar to the Bugatti Chiron. Designers borrowed from the French brand not only the overall stylistics, but also the original C-shaped body element, and two-tone color.
