The blogger made a video of how his Jeep Wrangler completely burned outSeptember 26, 2018
YouTube blogger Coyote Works (Casey) published a video in which he told how his Jeep Wrangler Rubicon completely burned when he went on a trip to Oregon. The incident occurred during another stop at a distance of about 50 kilometers to the nearest major highway.
Casey says that he noticed the smoke, opened the hood and saw the fire between the engine and the engine compartment shield. He tried to extinguish it with water and a fire extinguisher, but the fire quickly spread and the fire spread to the SUV. After that, Casey decided to save things from the car and localize the fire, so as not to catch fire the nearest bushes. By the morning the car completely burnt out, from it there was only a skeleton. Casey gave his GPS coordinates to a friend, and what remained of Wrangler was evacuated five days later.
The Jalopnik site found out that the 2013 Jeep Wrangler was twice withdrawn because of the possibility of a fire. The first service campaign is connected to the steering amplifier, which can damage the radiator pipeline, the second – with the corrosion of the side mirrors, which can cause a short circuit.
