The approximate date of the presentation of the new Skoda Octavia has become knownDecember 28, 2018
The new generation of the new Skoda Octavia can be presented in the third quarter of 2019, and the Frankfurt Automobile Salon, which is the only significant event of the third quarter in Europe, looks most likely.
The Czech company Skoda will soon update the generation of its Octavia model, which is one of the most recognizable brands of this brand. There are not so many details about the future novelty, but some facts are already known. For example, the new version will correspond to the dimensions of its predecessor, but the main change for fans will be the return of classic headlights, instead of the new four-eyed layout.
The basis will be used fresh modular platform from the concern Volkswagen MQB. There are no changes in the motor line yet, but a hybrid modification may appear with the possibility of charging from a household network. It can be assumed that the power reserve will be about 50 km solely on electric propulsion.
Sales may begin at the end of 2019 or at the beginning of 2020. The cost will remain the same, but will add a couple of hundred dollars. This will be due to new standard equipment and security systems.
We also note that the new Skoda Scala hatchback will officially enter the market only next year, but now the first commercial vehicles have appeared on the streets of European cities.
