Instagram channel carintelligence has shared patent images of the production version of the Nissan Magnite crossover.

It is worth mentioning that India will be the main market for the upcoming novelty. Initially, Magnite was planned to be released under the affordable Datsun brand, but the brand disappointed the Nissan corporation, and it will be liquidated in the near future.

The serial Magnite practically retained the design of the prototype, except that the bumpers got a simpler look (the rear one was left without decorative silvery “boomerangs” and “rectangles”), in addition, the headlights, for sure, received different equipment. The cross also has an oversized grille and L-shaped elements at the front, as well as small fog lights.

There are currently no images of the interior of the serial cross. Nevertheless, inside Magnite, most likely, has repeated the prototype, that is, the model will receive a digital instrument panel, “attached” to the front panel of the touchscreen of the infotainment complex. Cross, in particular, should be equipped with cruise control and all-round cameras.

What architecture will form the basis of the novelty has not yet been announced by Nissan, but the Indian press has no doubt that this is the CMF-A, on which the Datsun redi-GO, Renault Kwid and Renault Triber are built.

It is assumed that in India, the front-wheel drive Nissan crossover will be available with a gasoline 3-cylinder naturally aspirated 1.0-liter engine with 72 hp. in conjunction with a 5-speed manual transmission or “robot” and a 1.0-liter 95-horsepower “turbo engine” paired with a “mechanics” and a variator.

In the Indian market, Magnite should appear early next year, it is possible that the commercial model will be shown as early as 2020. The estimated cost of the novelty is 525,000 rupees. The cross should be released in other states, but their list has not yet been disclosed.

In addition, they recently told when the Nissan GT-R supercar will be discontinued. It should be emphasized that the first production Nissan GT-R50 was demonstrated in May this year. Such a car can be purchased at a price of 990,000 euros
