Textar introduced new brake padsOctober 6, 2020
New brake pads from TMD Friction are entering the Russian and CIS markets.
TMD Friction has released a new series of Textar brake pads called epad. The new part family has improved performance. The press service of the brand notes that the pads have become silent when braking, and also do not form a lot of wear products, which has a positive effect on air emissions.
In addition, with new pads, the stopping distance will be shortened in most situations. It is specified that the friction linings for the part are made of a special composition, which consists of 25 materials, and does not include asbestos (proprietary NAO technology).
The wear resistance of the new pads is higher, and the service life of the brake discs is also increased (almost 2 times). In addition, higher values of the coefficient of friction are reported: 0.35-0.45 in the thermal range up to 320 ° C.
Note that the new Textar epad brake pads have parameters that exceed the requirements of the ECE R90 standard. New parts have already begun to be supplied to such automakers as Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Skoda, Volkswagen, Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover and others.
