Tests of the revived Ford Bronco SUV coming to an endJanuary 28, 2020
During the tests, a prototype of the American novelty was noticed, which, apparently, has already received all its serial elements of the body. They promise to show the SUV this spring.
The approaching date for the official presentation of the all-new Ford Bronco generation means that Ford engineers are completing the long phase of testing the SUV. We have already seen prototypes of the new 2021 model year more than once, but apparently this series of “spy” photos of the car is the last.
This time, despite the presence of camouflage film, you can see that the test model of the SUV received almost all the serial elements of the body.
You can see more powerful tires Goodyear Wrangler 315 / 70R17, which are “dressed” on wheels with a retainer flanges, which in turn are located under the wider front and rear fenders. I must say that they very much resemble those on the Bronco R SUV, which was created to participate in the rally. The exhaust pipe also differs from those that we saw earlier, but it’s hard to say for sure. We can also see headlights and daytime running lights.
Without photos of the bottom of the car, it’s hard to say what kind of suspension the novelty is equipped with. There are probably some off-road mechanical improvements, such as front and rear lockers. Ford from the very beginning was adamant that the Bronco would be a true SUV competing with the Jeep Wrangler, Toyota 4Runner. Representatives of the brand have repeatedly said that the Ford Bronco 2021 will delight all lovers of this terrain.
Various patent applications over the past few years indicate that the SUV has removable doors and roof panels. Earlier it was reported that the next-generation Ford Bronco will be shown this spring. Most likely, we will see the car either at the Detroit auto show or in New York.
