Tests of the new Mercedes-Benz GLB crossover showed on videoNovember 6, 2018
Mercedes-Benz has begun the final tests of the new GLB crossover. A spy video from the test was posted on the walkoARTvideos YouTube channel. Judging by the video, the design of the car will resemble the concept of the G-Code concept, which was introduced in 2014 at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The lights of the car resembles the optics of the B-Class, which debuted at the motor show in Paris.
The car will use the front-drive platform MFA – the same as the basis for the Mercedes A-Class and GLA. The car will receive air suspension and adaptive shock absorbers.
The crossover will be equipped with four-cylinder petrol and diesel units. Later, the car will receive an AMG version. Power units range from 160 to 300 horsepower. It is also possible the emergence of a hybrid version, which will include a gasoline engine and an electric motor.
The public premiere of the car will take place in November at the Los Angeles Auto Show. In the model range of the German company car will take place between GLA and GLC. The main competitors of the crossover will be Audi Q3 and BMW X1.
