Tesla will soon announce the location for Cybertruck GigafactoryMay 2, 2020
Tesla told investors that over the next three months, the company will make a final decision on the location of the construction of Cybertruck Gigafactory.
The American manufacturer of electric vehicles enters the finish line with a project to build a new pickup truck factory: according to Electrek, Tesla will soon announce the location for Cybertruck Gigafactory. It is known that the company Elon Mask has long been looking for a suitable site for the factory, and cities such as Nashville in Tennessee, Joplin in Missouri and Wichita in Kansas were considered among possible options. The exact location may be announced in May, but no later than within three months.
The head of Tesla previously reported that the plant, which will be named Cybertruck Gigafactory in honor of the pickup truck, should be located in the Midwest, because it is convenient in all respects – primarily in terms of logistics, as the factory will also produce Model Y crossover. The factory may ensure the development of the local economy, therefore Gigafactory is desirable for the authorities of any of the listed states.
