The American manufacturer of electric cars Tesla will soon plan a major upgrade of the autonomous driving system on their cars. This became known on Saturday, July 4. Such information was shared by the founder of the company, Elon Musk. It is expected that the update will occur before the end of this year – most likely in the next two to four months.
Elon Musk also added that software changes have occurred at a fundamental level. Tesla autopilots were considered the best in the world before the update, and now they are ready to take another step forward. There is no exact data about the system yet – most likely you will have to wait for the official presentation.
It is also unknown for which models the new system will be available. It is possible that even Tesla Model S, which has been on the market for more than 10 years, can get it.
